Rayovac Recognizes Distributor’s Loyalty, Diligence  

MADISON, WIS., April 3, 2012 – In honor of exceptional performance in sales and distribution of Rayovac products for the quarter ending in March, Rayovac has awarded Brand Company Inc the Rayovac Outstanding Industrial Distributor Award.

This highly respected award recognizes distributors and the crucial role they play in the industrial market, and awards them for their loyalty, persistence in making excellent sales decisions and overall outstanding performance.

Founded in 1984 by Kenneth Brand in South Hamilton, MA, Brand Company adopted the logo slogan “Specialists in Batteries and Lighting Products” as it grew and honed in a focus on the industrial marketplace. Its primary market is industrial dealers and end users, including the medical, public safety, utility, hospitality and electrical markets throughout the country.

Brand Company’s growth over the last year has been outstanding. Compared to last year in this quarter, sales are up 84%, and sales compared to last quarter are up 21%. Thus, Brand Company is on track to double last fiscal year’s sales, with numbers from this fiscal year – only halfway finished – already close to exceeding sales from the prior year.
