Rayovac Accounces Industrial Distributor Award Recipient

MADISON, WIS., September 30, 2011 – In recognition of its extraordinary performance in sales and distribution of Rayovac products for the quarter that ended in September, Rayovac has awarded OBBCO Safety and Supply the Rayovac Outstanding Industrial Distributor Award.

 

Distributors play an extremely important role in the industrial marketplace, and its esteemed quarterly award enables Rayovac to honor them for their loyalty, persistence in making excellent sales decisions, and overall outstanding performance.

 

A Rayovac distributor since early 2004, OBBCO Safety has demonstrated impressive growth across the full line of Rayovac products to merit winning the Industrial Distributor Award. Compared to last quarter, its strategic decisions have resulted in a remarkable 83% increase in sales of a variety of Rayovac batteries as well as Rayovac Sportsman and Roughneck product lines. Further, OBBCO’s sales of Rayovac products doubled this fiscal year versus last.

 

An SMG member and JMA partner, OBBCO Safety continues to show support for Rayovac. OBBCO is the main supplier to the State of Virginia for all batteries, and has partnered with Rayovac to show continuing dedication in fulfilling the State’s requirements and also bringing new items to their attention, such as flashlights. This summer, OBBCO renewed its contract with the State to continue providing quality Rayovac products.
